Council encourages participation at Community Funding Fair
28th January 2025

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is hosting a Community Funding and Advice Fair on Thursday 6th February 2025 from 4.00 pm – 8.00 pm in St Macartin’s Cathedral Hall, Enniskillen.
The Community Funding and Advice Fair will provide an excellent opportunity for groups and individuals from the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area to drop in and meet with representatives from a wide range of funding and support agencies. More than twenty funding and advice agencies from across Northern Ireland will be in attendance. Anyone attending the event will be able to discuss the funding available, how to apply and project ideas.
In addition, Community Support staff from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will also be available to provide information and advice on grants.
There will also be an opportunity for new groups who require support during their formative phase to find out in how the Council and other agencies can provide help and guidance on a practical level.
Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor John McClaughry commented;
“This is a fantastic free event for members of the community and voluntary sector to gain essential information about funding opportunities. I encourage everyone to come along, ask questions and take advantage of this chance.
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is committed to working with our partners to make the most of the available resources and empower our communities to create positive, lasting impact. The Community Funding Advice Fair event provides an opportunity for groups to be informed of potential funding and services that exist to help us all make that impact.”
