8th October 2024

Lack Play Park

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is inviting residents in the Ederney and Kesh Ward of the District to share their views in relation to the future provision of play facilities in the area.  Residents can share their views at a public drop-in event or via an online survey.

The consultation, which is being undertaken as part of the Council’s Play Park Strategy 2030, will consider the current provision in Ederney, Kesh and Lack, and will help to inform decisions about future provision.

The drop-in event is open to the public and will take place on Wednesday 23 October 2024 at 8pm in Murphy’s On Main Street, Ederney.

Encouraging residents to attend the drop-in event and participate in the consultation, Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor John McClaughry, said:

“It is important that local residents participate in the consultation process so we can provide play facilities to meet the needs of the local community.

The consultation is part of the ongoing delivery of the Council’s Play Park Strategy which has seen the enhancement of play parks across the District.  The delivery of the strategy is important to ensure our young people have opportunities to be active and have fun whilst supporting their physical and social development.”

For residents unable to attend the drop-in event, an online consultation is open until Wednesday 06 November 2024 at 5pm and is available in the Council’s website and via its social media channels.
