Council invites views on Play Park provision in the Newtownsaville Ward

1st October 2024

Seskinore 1

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is inviting residents in the Newtownsaville Ward of the District to share their views in relation to the future provision of play facilities in the area.  Residents can share their views at a public drop-in event or via an online survey.

The consultation, which is being undertaken as part of the Council’s Play Park Strategy 2030, will consider the current provision at Seskinore and Clements Bungalows, Sixmilecross, and will help to inform decisions about future provision.

The drop-in event is open to the public and will take place on Wednesday 16 October 2024 at 8pm in Seskinore Young Farmers Club Hall.

Encouraging residents to attend the drop-in event and participate in the consultation, Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor John McClaughry, said:

“The Council is now in its 4th year of the Play Park Strategy delivery which has seen the enhancement of play parks across the District.  These works have created a variety of play opportunities for our young people to have fun whilst also support their physical and social development.

It is important that local residents participate in the consultation process so we can provide play facilities to meet the needs of the local community.”

For residents unable to attend the drop-in event, an online consultation is open until Wednesday 23 October 2024 at 5pm and is available in the Council’s website and via its social media channels.
