Hunters Crescent Play Park Reopening

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council has officially reopened the play parks at Hunter’s Crescent and Mullaghmore, Omagh following improvement works as part of its ambitious Play Park Strategy.

The works, which included the upgrade of existing equipment and provision of some new items, have created opportunities for more inclusive play.

Speaking about the works, Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor John McClaughry, said:

“I was pleased to have the opportunity to visit Hunter’s Crescent and Mullaghmore Play Parks to see the completed works.

It is important that we provide opportunities for our children and young people to be active.  The continued roll out of the Council’s Play Park Strategy helps us to achieve this by ensuring accessible, safe and clean play park provision across the District.”

The Council’s Play Park Strategy, which is now in the fourth year of delivery, supports its commitment to ensure our people are healthy and well, physically, mentally and emotionally.
