Culture Night 2022 celebrations in Enniskillen & Surrounding Areas

Culture Night is an annual all-island public event that celebrates culture, creativity and the arts and all events are free. Groups from across the Fermanagh and Omagh district are hosting a range of arts and cultural forms including music, dance, visual art, theatre, language, literature, sports, cultural traditions, film and crafts.

Most of the planned events for this year’s Culture Night on Friday 23 September are in person, with one or two online.

Local events in and around Fermanagh at a glance include:

• 2pm– 9pm > Mumming Disturbances, Fermanagh House  – A display of press cuttings by the Mummers Foundation, Fermanagh House, Enniskillen

• 2pm -8pm > Sruth na hEirne present ‘Mo Thuras Teanga’ (My Irish Journey) Fermanagh House A display of testimonies from twenty Irish speakers around the importance of the Irish language to them in their life.

• 6pm > Fermanagh Film Club ‘Shorts’ SW College, Enniskillen

• 6pm > Arts Gathering Fermanagh Arts Service Ardhowen Theatre

• 6pm > Music For All by Fermanagh Concert Band, Round O Bandstand

• 7pm > Erne Highland Dancers, Round O Park, Enniskillen

• 7.20pm > Prom in the Park Enniskillen Royal Grammar School A Level Performing Arts, Round O Park, Enniskillen

• 8pm > Music, song, dance and story telling from Roslea CCE

• 8pm > Fermanagh Tyrone Brass Band Summer School Brass Blast (online) Facebook – Fermanagh/Tyrone Brass Band Summer School Page (FTBBSS)

• 8pm Down Memory Lane…Bands, Music and Mummers Benaughlin CCE at Kinawley

• 9pm > Local traditional artists, and singers and dancers at St Patrick’s GFC Donagh
