Fermanagh and Omagh District Council shares information on Easter events happening around the district, including a scavenger hunt, picnic, fairy trails and more!

Eggsciting Easter Egg Trail at Enniskillen Castle
From Saturday 23 March 2024 until Saturday 06 April 2024, Enniskillen Castle will have an Easter egg hunt trail around the museum galleries. Find all the eggs and claim your prize. Normal admission rates apply at £5.50 for adults, £4.00 for seniors, students and children, and under 5-year-olds have free admission. Easter Land of Fairies at Marble Arch Caves
Step into a world of enchantment this Easter at the Marble Arch Caves with its new Easter Land of Fairies outdoor trail. From Saturday 23 March 2024 until Friday 05 April 2024, at 10:30am or 2:00pm, immerse your family in a magical 1hour adventure of discovering the fairy villages, learning about fairies and looking for fairy Easter eggs. Fused Glass Workshops for Children at The Ardhowen
On Saturday 23 March at The Ardhowen, Enniskillen, there are three different workshops at 10am, 11.30am and 1pm for children of different ages (5-12yrs and 13-18yrs) to enjoy an arts and crafts workshop. During the workshop every child will produce their own unique fused glass sun catcher, it is a great opportunity for children to experience colour therapy and fused glass art. The workshop costs £25 per child, adults can join their child or children for additional £15 and all sun catchers will be ready for collection within two weeks (after being fired in the kiln). Make your own Easter Wreaths at the Strule Arts Centre
Make your own Easter wreath using silk foliage, pinecones and seasonal embellishments at the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh, on Friday 22 March at 7pm. The one-hour workshop is delivered by Sharyn Kelly, all materials are supplied, and it costs £25 per person. Omagh Leisure Complex Kid’s Easter Camp
Omagh Leisure Complex are organising a kid’s activity day camp on Thursday 28 March, Friday 29 March, Wednesday 03 April, Thursday 04 April and Friday 05 April for children aged 5-11 years old. Activities range from sports and team games to arts and crafts and more. The activity camp runs from 9.30am – 3.30pm each day and costs £12 per day, per child. Please note, every child must bring their own packed lunch and water. Easter Scavenger Hunt at Castle Caldwell Forest
On Tuesday 02 April from 1-4pm, Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark are hosting an Easter Scavenger Hunt for the whole family. It’s free and there is no booking necessary. Upon arrival at Castle Caldwell Forest, just 5miles from Belleek, a Geopark staff member will give you a scavenger hunt booklet before you set off on your self-led trail to see what you can find. Picnic in the Park on Easter Tuesday at Forthill Park, Enniskillen
On Tuesday 02 April from 2.00pm – 4.00pm enjoy a free afternoon of activities at Forthill Park, Enniskillen. As well as Cole’s Monument being open for everyone to enjoy fabulous views of the town, a singer will perform in the bandstand, there will be balloon modelling, Jo-Jingles, rope making, traditional games, biodiversity activities and much more.
