Fermanagh and Omagh District Council shares information on Easter events happening around the district, including egg hunting, a family fun day, wreathmaking and more.
Commenting on the array of Easter Events for everyone to enjoy, Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor John McClaughry, said,
“The Council is committed to delivering the best quality experience for those who live in and visit our district. I am pleased the Council is offering many opportunities for our residents and visitors to enjoy Easter in Fermanagh and Omagh this year, whether you, or your children, are into live entertainment, arts and heritage, or sports, there is something for everyone.”
Picnic in the Park on Easter Monday at Forthill Park, Enniskillen
On Monday 21 April 2025 from 2pm – 4pm enjoy an afternoon of fun activities for the whole family at Forthill Park, Enniskillen. Cole’s Monument will open for the spring, summer season for everyone to enjoy views of the scenic island town, and there will be live music on the bandstand, along with balloon modelling, Jo-Jingles, rope making, traditional games, hula-hooping and much more. Gortin Glen Forest Park Easter Event
At the Gortin Glen Forest Park, just 9 miles from Omagh, enjoy Easter weekend from Saturday 19 April – Monday 21 April 2025. Organised by Brie’s Barista Bar, each day will be packed full of fun with egg hunting, face painting and Easter photoshoot from 10am – 4pm. Make your own Easter Wreaths at the Strule Arts Centre
Make your own Easter wreath using silk foliage, pinecones and seasonal embellishments at the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh, on Friday 11 April 2025 at 7pm. The one-hour workshop is delivered by arts and craft tutor, Sharyn Kelly. The cost is £25 per person (all materials are supplied). Clayful Minds Easter Workshop at Enniskillen Castle
On Saturday 12 April 2025 at 11am a 2-hour Clay Modelling for primary school aged children will take place at Enniskillen. Children will create an Easter themed model while being guided step by step by Clayful Minds Instructor, Tanya. Easter Egg Hunt at Enniskillen Castle
From Monday 14 April 2025 until Saturday 26 April 2025, Enniskillen Castle will have an Easter egg hunt trail around the museum galleries. Find all the eggs and claim your prize. Normal admission rates apply at £6 for adults, £4.50 for seniors, students and children (free admission for under 5-year-olds), and £16.50 for families (2 adults and 3 children). Easter at the Marble Arch Caves

A Journey through Gortin Glen Forest Park at Strule Arts Centre
On Thursday 17 April 2025 at 6.30pm, local resident, Sean Harpur, who has spent years uncovering the stories of this remarkable landscape, will guide us through a visual journey, narrating the fascinating tales behind his collected photographs. Adding to the experience, special guests will share music and poetry inspired by the Gortin Glen Forest Park, while the Council’s Climate Change Team will offer insights into its natural heritage. Omagh Leisure Complex Kid’s Easter Camp
Omagh Leisure Complex are organising a kid’s activity day camp on Friday 18 April, Wednesday 23 April, Thursday 24 April and Friday 25 April 2025 for children aged 5-11 years old. Activities range from sports and team games to arts and crafts. The activity camp runs from 9am – 3pm daily and costs £12 per day, per child.
