Fermanagh and Omagh District Council to host Farmers’ Markets in Enniskillen and Omagh

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, in partnership with the NI Regional Food Programme, through the Sperrin and Erne Food Partnership, is delighted to announce a series of Farmers’ Markets which will be taking place in Enniskillen and Omagh.
These markets will showcase the best of our local produce whilst promoting sustainability and creating vibrant visitor experiences to support the regeneration of our town centres.
The aim of the markets is to raise the profile of quality regional food, seek to increase the consumption of fresh, nutritious and seasonal food and support our local businesses.
The markets will take place on:
- Saturday 02 November 2024 at Enniskillen Castle, 11am-4pm
- Sunday 03 November 2024 at the Marquee on Main Street, Kevlin Avenue, Omagh, 12pm-4pm
- Saturday 23 November 2024 at the Marquee on Main Street, Kevlin Avenue, Omagh, 11am-5pm
- Saturday 07 December 2024 at Enniskillen Castle, 11am-4pm
By reducing food miles and highlighting local products, these markets contribute to a more sustainable future whilst also encouraging residents and visitors alike to experience the rich food culture of our district.
