Fermanagh and Omagh District Council to illuminate Enniskillen Castle and Strule Arts Centre on selected dates in December

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will illuminate Enniskillen Castle and Strule Arts Centre, Omagh on selected dates throughout the month of December.
Both buildings will be illuminated purple on Friday 3 December to mark International Day of Disabled People; a global event that aims to break down barriers to inclusion and advocate for the rights of disabled people.
Enniskillen Castle and the Strule Arts Centre will be lit up blue on Tuesday 7 December for World Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Awareness Day on behalf of The Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Foundation. This day shines a light on the fight to save babies with this condition and remembers those who have passed away.
On Wednesday 8 December both buildings will be illuminated orange on behalf of Memory Stones of Love / The Good Grief Trust, as part of National Grief Awareness Week (2-8 December) which highlights the impact of grief.
Enniskillen Castle and Strule Arts Centre will then be illuminated green on Tuesday 21 December on behalf of the NSPCC for the 5k Walk for Children which raises funds for children experiencing abuse or neglect.
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council illuminates buildings to recognise days of significance to groups within the wider community. The Council also illuminates buildings in support of a particular campaign, charity or initiative.
