Fermanagh Fishing Classic 2024

The shores of Fermanagh are gearing up to welcome 179 participants for the 47^th Fermanagh Fishing Classic which is taking place from 29 April to 03 May 2024.

Entries for the 47^th Fermanagh Fishing Classic have now closed with 179 participants registered to attend, which is an increase of almost 30% compared to 2023 and includes 50 first time competitors. This competition is one of the most anticipated premier showcase events of the match coarse fishing season calendar and will welcome anglers from across Northern Ireland as well as the Republic of Ireland, Great Britain, and Germany.

The festival is delivered by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, in partnership with DAERA Inland Fisheries, local angling representative Tony Green, Erne Anglers, and supported by Tackle Guru, who have helped raise the online profile of the event across its social media platforms. Enniskillen BID have been a pivotal partner in bringing the festival atmosphere back to Enniskillen town by facilitating evening entertainment during the week of the festival in four local hostelries, (Pat’s Bar, Charlie’s Bar, Crowe’s Nest, and TJ Ryans) who will provide competitor offers over the four evenings (Monday – Thursday), with the closing event on Friday 3 May in the Killyhevlin Lakeside Hotel and Lodges.
