The final countdown is on to the annual Enniskillen 10K Road Race and Leisure Walk which takes place this year on Saturday 8 June 2019.
Organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and supported by the National Trust, the race will start at the Fermanagh Lakeland Forum, Enniskillen at 2.00pm sharp and all participants are encouraged to be at the start line in good time.
The Enniskillen 10k Road Race and Leisure Walk is one of the district’s largest sporting events and this year carries a total prize fund of £1,500. The 2019 event has been accorded additional prestige as it has been included within the Novosco Grand Prix Series. The Council’s Director of Community Health and Leisure, Robert Gibson said;
“The Council is once again delighted to be working in partnership with the National Trust to organise what is one of the district’s largest mass participation events attracting participants from near and far.”
The children’s fun run, suitable for age groups between pre-school and Primary 7, takes place on the grass playing fields beside Enniskillen Castle and will commence at 12 noon. Entry to the children’s fun run is free and registration is not required.
Registration submitted in writing for the Enniskillen 10k will be accepted up until Monday 3 June 2019 at 5.00pm whilst online registrations will close on Tuesday 4 June 2019 at 10.00am.
