Information events on funding opportunities with The National Lottery Heritage Fund

Information events for community groups on funding opportunities available through The National Lottery Heritage Fund will take place in Enniskillen and Omagh in April.

Organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, in partnership with The National Lottery Heritage Fund, the information events will provide an opportunity for representatives from local not-for-profit organisations and constituted groups, with an interest in making a positive difference through a heritage project, to find out more about grant opportunities with The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Taking place on Thursday 11 April, 7pm-8.30pm at the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh and Thursday 18 April, 7pm-8.30pm at Enniskillen Castle, the Heritage Fund’s Engagement Team will be on hand at both events to provide information and guidance on areas including funding opportunities available; the type of organisations and heritage projects eligible for funding; planning and undertaking a heritage project and the new application process. Both events will also feature a question-and-answer session.

The events are a wonderful opportunity for groups within the Fermanagh and Omagh district to learn more about funding available through the Heritage Fund and to speak directly to its Engagement Team. I would encourage all those groups with an interest in preserving and celebrating their local heritage to attend one of the events to find out more about the opportunities available to help bring heritage ideas and projects to life or to the next level.’
