Update in relation to Storm Éowyn

The Met Office red warning as a result of Storm Éowyn has now ended, however, an amber warning is now in place until 9pm on Friday 24 January 2025, therefore, all Council Services remain suspended including bin collections, recycling facilities, street cleansing and leisure and recreation services until further. All Council buildings and facilities are closed on Friday 24 January 2025 until further notice. Online Council services will be fully available.
As refuse collections have been suspended on Friday 24 January 2025, please do not present your bin for collection to avoid the risk of debris and bins obstructing roads.
All Council outdoor facilities such as Play Parks, Sports Grounds, Cemeteries and Open Spaces are closed until further notice.
