Motion: A5 Public Inquiry

In respect of the ongoing A5 public inquiry, and our consistent and ongoing support, this Council:

• Recognises that the majority of people in this council area are fully supportive of the A5 upgrade and, to date, this has been disproportionately misrepresented at the public inquiry;

• Through the use of social media messaging and public information sessions, will proactively encourage the citizens of this district to register their support for the A5 upgrade through the public consultation;

• Make available council-run community centres, and other buildings, to facilitate and assist citizens of our district in making written submissions to the public inquiry.
