Motion: Attack on Detective Chief Inspector John Caldwell

Following the brutal and cowardly attack on Detective Chief Inspector John Caldwell at the Omagh Youth Sports Complex, Killyclogher, on 22nd February 2023, in front of his young son and other children, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council condemns in the strongest possible terms this disgraceful act of terrorism; to express its' full and unequivocal support for the PSNI, and to call on anyone with information relating to this barbaric attack or any other act of terrorism, including the murder of Constable Ronan Kerr in 2011, to pass it on to the PSNI immediately.
