Motion: Strule Shared Education Campus

This Council welcomes the meeting held at The Grange Council Offices in Omagh on Tuesday 30 January of a Council-appointed delegation with Mark Browne, Permanent Secretary and with Suzanne Kingon, Director of Investment and Infrastructure, Department of Education regarding the future of the Strule Shared Education Campus in Omagh, and further to this, seeks direct engagement with the new, incoming Minister of Education and also with the new, incoming Finance Minister and The Executive Office, both First Minister and Deputy First Minister to seek their reaffirmation of support for and necessary investment in this iconic, flagship project of regional significance which will help to raise educational attainment levels and bring other social benefits to thousands of young people in the future.
