Over 20 IRA officers attending a meeting in Dromore are arrested.
7th
The Dáil approves the Treaty by 64 votes to 57.
9th
De Valera resigns as President.
14th
The ‘Monaghan Footballers’ are arrested by the USC en route to a game in Derry. Among those detained is Dan Hogan, OC of the 5th Northern Division and brother of Michael who was killed on Bloody Sunday.
16th
British formally hand over power to Collins and the Provisional Government at a Dublin Castle ceremony.
21st
Craig and Collins meet in London and agree a pact: 1) to end the Belfast Boycott, 2) to arrange a return to employment for the expelled shipyard workers, 3) to replace the Boundary Commission with an agreement between the Belfast and Dublin governments.
