Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is delighted to welcome Expressions of Interest/Applications for the following funding opportunities for Village and Rural Settlements below.
Covid Recovery Small Settlements Regeneration Programme
> Village & Rural Enhancement:
Capital grants are available between £50,000 and £100,000 at a grant rate of 100% for community groups/associations to support the regeneration and development of villages in ways which support their important social and economic roles.
All projects must be within the 30mph boundary of a rural settlement.

> Vacant to Occupied:
Capital funding up to £40,000 at a grant rate of 80% is available to encourage owners of vacant commercial premises to invest in their buildings, enhance the aesthetics of the village/rural settlement, attract tenants, reduce long term vacancy and create local employment.
All projects must be within the 30mph boundary of a rural settlement.

> Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Strategic Capital Grants:
The Strategic Capital Projects Grant Programme is aimed at meeting the needs of the district with a view to fulfilling the outcomes of the Fermanagh and Omagh 2030 Community Plan and Council’s Corporate Plan 2020-24. Capital funding of grants between £100k and up to £200k is available with organisations required to match fund from other sources to a minimum value of 10% of the grant awarded.
The funding will provide a mechanism for investing in rural/urban areas to promote wider recovery from the pandemic and is available to local community organisations with a project plan to enhance existing facilities or to meet an unmet local need.
