Community Volunteers
Volunteers make a significant contribution in the District. Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, along with a number of other organisations, offer a range of volunteering opportunities in the district.
Volunteering opportunities with Fermanagh and Omagh District Council
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council welcomes the involvement of volunteers in assisting to deliver Council services and enhance the benefits to residents and visitors to the district.
Volunteers reflect the interests, needs and resources of the communities we serve. Volunteers bring a unique perspective; they are part of our team, with a distinctive but complementary role alongside paid staff.
At present, the Council has over 350 volunteers involved in:

The Council provides opportunities for people to register for volunteer roles at various times throughout the year.
