Good Relations- Faith Based Dialogue & Collaboration

GR Faith

GR Faith Based Dialogue & Collaboration Programme aims to work with Omagh Churches’ Forum, Fermanagh Churches’ Forum, Fermanagh and Omagh Interfaith Group and others to develop annual programmes of activities addressing enhanced understanding, social inclusion, respect for diversity, promotion of good relations and leadership to their local communities.

The GRO will continue to work with PCSP and Church Forums to address issues related to sectarianism and hate crime. The work complements Community Services and role of church and faith-based organisations in Community Development. Fermanagh and Omagh 2030 Community Plan Outcome.

One of the key focus points of this action is to develop the capacity of faith groups to become relevant in today’s society, and to work with people and groups from hard-to-reach communities, and not just preaching the choir.
