Licence summary

If you control non-domestic premises you must ensure that you notify the local authority of any Cooling Tower or Evaporative Condenser (notifiable devices) on the premises.

You must notify the local authority of any changes to the notification information within one month of the change, in writing.

If the device ceases to be a notifiable device you must notify the local authority in writing as soon as possible.

Fee

There is no fee for this notification.

Will Tacit Consent Apply?

Yes.  The applicant will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of the notification within 10 working days and the details will be added to a Cooling Tower Register.

Failed Application Redress/Licence Holder Redress

Your application will be acknowledged and details of your premises placed on the Council’s Cooling Tower Register.

Consumer Complaint

In the event of a complaint the first contact should be made with Fermanagh & Omagh District Council.  Alternatively if you are located in the UK, Citizens Advice Bureau will give you advice. From outside the UK contact the UK European Consumer Centre.

Public Register

A register of Cooling Towers and Evaporative Condensers in the Fermanagh & Omagh District Council area can be provided on request.
