Fermanagh & Omagh Sports Awards 2017

Sporting talent from across the Fermanagh and Omagh district was acknowledged at the 2017 Fermanagh and Omagh Sports Forum Sports Awards which took place on Friday 23 February 2018 in the Silverbirch Hotel, Omagh.

More than 250 people attended the awards which are organised in partnership with Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and recognise and celebrate local sports men and women, individuals and teams for outstanding sporting performance in 2017.

Winners at the 2017 Fermanagh and Omagh Sports Forum Sports Awards were:

Juvenile Sports Personality of the Year: Lewis Spratt

Junior Sports Personality of the Year: Nathan Timoney

Senior Sports Personality of the Year: Conor McElduff

Junior Sports Team of the Year: Tyrone GAA Under 17 Footballers

Senior Sports Team of the Year: Fermanagh Ladies GFA / Esther Forster & Jean Carson

Coach of the Year: Sean Crowley

Disability Coach of the Year: Andrew Goodwin

Outstanding Achievement: Ellie McCartney and Shirley McCay

Service to Sport: Theresa Kelly
