Swimming Pool & Steam Room
What are the ages and ratios to bring my children to the pool?
Children aged 0-3 years must be supervised on a 1:2 basis. Children aged 4-7 years must be supervised at all times but this can be on a ratio of 3 children to 1 adult. Children must be 8 years old before they can access the pool without parental supervision.
Please ensure you have checked our pool admittance policy before making your trip to the Centre.

We cannot say for certain when it will be quiet but you can view our Swimming Pool Schedule (currently being updated) to see when we may have swimming lessons or club bookings.
Do you have family changing rooms?
We currently have 2 family changing rooms available. Please ask a member of our reception team upon arrival to see if any are available. We ask that a deposit is left with reception when keys for these rooms are taken to remember to bring them back, whereby the deposit left will be given back.
How do I make sure I can access the Disability Changing Room for my swim?
You can book this room free of charge at reception. You will be required to leave a deposit at reception when checking in for your swim and collecting the key to the room.
How can I request use of the Pool Pod?
You can let us know on arrival at reception if you need to use this so staff can meet you at poolside to assist or give us a call beforehand to let us know you plan to attend and at what time.
What age do you need to be to access the Steam Room?
All persons must be age 16 or older.
Do I need a wristband to access the Steam Room?
Yes. All persons must see reception before using the steam room to pick up their wristband. Without a wristband then you will not be allowed to access the steam room. Staff consistently check the steam room and failure to have a wristband will mean you will be asked to leave the steam room to purchase/acquire one (if member) from reception.

Fitness Classes
Do I need to book in advance for a class?
You do not need to book, however many of our classes have become increasingly popular and do book up quickly so it is recommended if you wish to secure your spot.
How can I book a class?
You can book your space on a class online or via the app or directly through reception. Bookings can be made from 7am one day prior to the class date.
The class I want is fully booked but I am on the waiting list. How does this work?
If you have the app, you will receive a notification that a space has become available. It is then up to you to secure your booking if you still wish to attend or you can remove yourself from the waiting list if it no longer suits.
Are courses included in the free membership classes?
Unfortunately courses like Yoga and Pilates are not free to members.
I’ve booked online for a class but do I still need to check-in at reception when I arrive?
You do not need to wait in the reception queue if you have booked your space in a class online, however you must give your name to the coach so they can mark you as attended. Failure to notify staff that you attended will result in a £5.50 no show charge being created on your account.
I need to cancel my class booking, can I do this online?
Yes. You can cancel your class bookings through your online member account or your app. Be sure to cancel more that 1 hour before the class starts or a late cancellation fee of £5.50 will automatically be applied to your account.
