Sensory Room

We are excited for this brand new facility here at Omagh Leisure Complex open from Thursday 28 November 2024.
The Sensory Room provides a safe and calm space for children of all ages and abilities to spend quality private time where they can self-regulate their behaviours and also improve their visual, auditory and tactile processing.
There is a variety of fun, calming, exciting and interactive equipment for children to engage with:
- Bubble Tube and Fiber Optic Tails (colour changing)
- Sequin Board
- Sensory Floor Tiles
- Infinity Mirror with lights and music
- Calm video projections
- and much more!
Booking
All bookings for the Sensory Room are available for 45 minute sessions starting on the hour.
There are two booking options to choose from:
- 1-2 Children – costs £4.00 for 45 minutes
- 3-5 Children – costs £12.00 for 45 minutes
All bookings are free for those who have a Household Membership.
Once you have made a booking for your group, this time slot is yours and no other bookings can be made during this time.
We allow 15 minutes between bookings to ensure there is no rush for the next customers arriving and to allow our staff time to ensure the room is ready for them.
Whilst the room is mainly a quiet and calm space, it is located in our building next to our Cycling Studio. As such there are times where there may more noise heard from the adjacent room such as music and the class coach.
If your child has additional sensory needs and is sensitive to noise we would recommend not booking during times that classes are ongoing in this room.

Please note that all bookings must be paid at the time of booking to secure your slot.
Children must be supervised at all times when in the room and food or drink are not permitted in the room.
