Gortin Glen Forest Park Horse Trails

The horse trails at Gortin Glen Forest Park offer 8km of trails on the western side of the forest, off the Lisnaharney Road, to provide a dedicated facility as well as an opportunity to experience the majestic views of the Park and the Sperrins.

The trails can be accessed by foot and trailer or lorry with access to a car parking facility via a refundable deposit-led key scheme which users are required to apply for.  Information including appropriate insurances must be included with the submission.  The deposit is £100 and can be paid via the Connect Centre at Strule House, 16 High Street, Omagh during Office hours, 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.

Applications are now open, and a Council representative will respond to applicants within two weeks of submission to confirm the next steps.
