Religious and Belief Marriages
Your day is special to you and important to us!
A religious/belief marriage can only be performed by a minister, priest or pastor or person who has been registered as an officiant and authorised by the Registrar General to conduct religious/belief marriages.
Making arrangements
A couple wishing to have a religious/belief marriage should talk with the Officiant who will conduct their ceremony to agree the date and venue. A religious/belief marriage may, with the agreement of the Officiant, take place anywhere in Northern Ireland.

- The notice period is a minimum of 28 days, it is recommended all paperwork is submitted at least 8 weeks in advance of your ceremony.
