Fermanagh and Omagh District Council provides funding to voluntary clubs, societies, community groups, social enterprises and sporting organisations for grant aid. Bursaries are also available to individuals in the area of Culture and Sport.
Applicants must be based within the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area.

Strategic Capital Projects Grant Programme 25/26
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council wishes to invite applications from community/voluntary sector organisations under the Strategic Capital Projects Grant Programme for 2025/2026.
Mandatory Information Workshop. Attendance at an information workshop is required to apply. Workshop to be held online, Monday 14 April 2025 at 1pm. Email: grants@fermanaghomagh.com for joining instructions.
The funding will provide a mechanism for investing in rural/urban areas and is available to local community/voluntary organisations with a project plan to enhance existing facilities or to meet an unmet local need.
The grant scheme has a budget of £1m for 2025/2026 for two categories of project applications:
- Category 1 – Larger strategic grant up to £300k with a maximum of one project at this scale. The project must robustly demonstrate how it serves communities across a District Electoral Area (DEA) or across several DEA’s.
- Category 2 – Medium Capital with grants up to £100k. A minimum of seven grants will be awarded and will be equitably spread across the district.
Online applications opened on Monday 7 April 2025 and will close on Friday 9 May 2025 at 5.00pm

Applications for Community Services – Project Development are open on a rolling basis and can be accepted throughout the year. Applicants must first contact a Community Support Officer of the Council to discuss their project/proposal prior to an application being made available.
