This workshop is the perfect opportunity to create a unique Fused Glass Sun Catcher.
Learn how to use pre-fired coloured glass pieces to add to your own design along with coloured frit (Crushed Glass, Fine, and Course).
The Workshop will cover an introduction to Fused Glass, Sheet, Frit, Stringers, Dots to embellish your work and the equipment required to score and cut, nip your glass into the shapes you require.
You will get one 20cm x 5cm or you can choose two 10cm x 5cm rectangles shaped glass to decorate/embellish.
Your work will then be fired in the kiln, ready for collection within 2 weeks.
This workshop is suitable for children aged 5 to 18 years.
CHILDREN UNDER 12 YEARS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT/GUARDIAN DURING THE WORKSHOP. There is no charge for the accompanying adult but the space should be booked through Box Office.
Adults can also make a sun catcher during the workshop for an additional £15
Please ensure you wear closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothing and avoid anything that will drape in your work such as a long necklace or long flowing sleeves.
