The Public Health Agency is the Data Controller which means that it determines the purpose and means of processing the personal data. Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is the Data Processor which means we are responsible for processing the information on behalf of the PHA.
How is it collected?
During tobacco control visit or as a result of a complaint
Why is it being collected?
The lawful base we rely on for processing your personal data is article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR, meaning the processing is necessary for the Council to comply with tobacco control legislation.
How will it be used?
To enable gathering of evidence for potential legal action.
Who will it be shared with?
Tascomi, other Councils, PHA and Department of Health, where necessary
How long will it be retained for?
As per Council’s Records Retention and Disposal Schedule
