Local Development Plan Preferred Options Paper – Acknowledgement of Receipt of Representations

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council launched its Preferred Options Paper for public consultation on 3 October 2016. The Local Development Plan Preferred Options Paper set out the key planning issues for the Fermanagh and Omagh district, identified a range of options to address them, and indicated which of these was the preferred option of the Council.

A large volume of correspondence has been received in response to the public consultation which ended on 28 November 2016. The Council has therefore taken the decision not to write individually to each person who made a representation but to inform them by this notification that their representation has been received. The Council will place a consultation statement in the near future, on the Council’s website and at the Council offices, setting out a summary of those representations that relate to Plan Strategy matters and which will be used to inform its’ preparation.

Those representations which are essentially about inclusion of sites within settlement limits and other site specific matters, will be held over and considered in the preparation of the Local Policies Plan.
