Council Committees
The Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is Councillor John McClaughry for the 2024-2025 year.
The Vice Chair is Councillor Elaine Brough.
Council business is conducted via a committee system. There are currently four Standing Committees: Environmental Services, Regeneration and Community, Policy and Resources and Planning which meet every month. The reports of these meetings are considered and ratified by the full council.
The Council has also established a Health and Social Care Services Sub Committee and Rural Affairs Sub Committee.
