Creative Capabilities
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council worked in partnership with Arvalee School & Resource Centre and Willowbridge School to produce these two Poetry Booklets. The project was supported by the Public Health Agency.
The ‘Creative Capabilities’ Project provided pupils from Willowbridge School and Arvalee School with the opportunity to take part in a series of workshops to produce a collection of poems and illustrations. These have been used to celebrate the talents of children and young people with disabilities.
The workshops were a fantastic way to bring students together and encourage each other to create poems and illustrations about their adventures and favourite memories. The result is these lovely books of poetry, available to download, that everyone can take home, give to family and friends and look back on with fondness in years to come.
