Who is collecting it?
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is the Data Controller which means that we determine how the information is collected, used, protected and shared where appropriate.
How is it collected?
The information is collected when you ask to join a database. This might be via a telephone call, or a written request, email or jotform.
Why is it being collected?
The legal bases we rely on for processing your personal data are article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, meaning that we rely on consent to process personal information for a specific purpose, and article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, meaning that the processing is necessary for a contract that we have with you or because you have asked us to take specific steps before entering into a contract.
How will it be used?
To communicate information to you, or share your information with external organisations, regarding useful opportunities/information to the individual/organisation.
Who will it be shared with?
Any personal information provided by you will not be disclosed to any other third party, other than already disclosed, unless law or regulation compels such a disclosure.
How long will it be retained for?
The databases will be retained until they are superseded/destroyed (as per the Council’s Records Retention and Disposal Schedule), however Council Officers will review the membership as required from time to time.
