Who is collecting it?
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is the data controller which means that we determine how your information is collected, used, protected and shared, where applicable.
How is it collected?
When you complete an application form or indicate interest in joining a workshop, event or Advisory Group.
Why is it being collected?
The legal bases we rely on for processing your personal data are having your consent under article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, and article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, which relates to processing which is necessary to perform a contract or to take steps at your request, before entering a contract.
How will it be used?
We collect your information to:
• Arrange Advisory Group meetings
• Provide information that may be relevant to access, inclusion and/or disability
• Equality Monitoring will be used to assist in our statutory duty under the Northern Ireland Act 1998 and will be reported, as anonymised data, to the Council’s Policy & Resources Committee or to external funders
• Provide information on events and workshops
Who will it be shared with?
The information could be shared with project funders, where applicable. Anonymised s.75 data will be provided for any workshops or events arranged for adults with disabilities to the Public Health Agency, where they are the funders. No personal information will be shared with any other third party unless law or regulation compels such a disclosure or where external funding requires it.
How long will it be retained for?
All information will be retained as per the Council’s Records Retention and Disposal Schedule.
