The lawful bases we rely on for processing your personal data are article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, meaning processing is necessary for a contract we have with you or because we have been asked to take specific steps before entering into a contract, article 6(1)(d) of the GDPR which means that processing is necessary to protect someone’s life and, article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR, which relates to processing which is necessary to perform a task in the public interest or for official functions, and the task or function has a clear basis in law.

Emergency Planning documents will be retained until superseded, as per the Council’s Records Retention and Disposal Schedule.
