What information is being collected?

2. Organisation in which you are applying for grant on behalf of

5. Telephone numbers
6. Email
7. Bank Statement, if applicable

Who is collecting it?

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is the Data Controller which means that we determine how the information is collected, used, protected and shared, where appropriate.

How is it collected?

The information is collected through an application process. Grants are available at various stages throughout the year.

Why is it being collected?

To allow us to correspond with you about your application and to write to you to advise the outcome of the application process, and, if applicable, to contact you about progress of your project and claims. The legal basis we rely on for processing your personal data is article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, which is that processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or to take steps at your request, before entering a contract.

How will it be used?

The information will only be used for contacting you about your application, project or claim, if applicable.

Who will it be shared with?

The information will only be shared with the Community and Wellbeing Directorate and the Finance section (for the purposes of making a payment only) and, where applicable, with the external funding body such as the Department for Communities, Sport NI or The Executive Office, if they request it.
Any personal information provided by you will not be disclosed to any other third party, unless law or regulation compels such a disclosure.

How long will it be retained for?

The information will be retained by the Grants and Investment Unit for a period of 7 years in line with the Council’s Records Retention and Disposal Schedule.
